Welcome to Something About Karen!

This is just a bit about me.  On the left are links to my business & computer experience and my travels.  The link for my travels contains photos from my various trips.  I love to travel and I love to take pictures!  

By profession, until recently, I was a computer programmer/ analyst with extensive business & financial programming, support and project management experience.  My experience has primarily been within the finance, insurance, and software development and support industries.   

One of my favorite things to do on my own time is travel.  If you click on the link to the left, it'll link you to a few pages of photos of some of my favorite places in the world. 

Some of my interests, other than traveling, include Renaissance Faires, classical music (listening and playing violin and viola), web design, and reading (biography, especially the Tudors of England; comparative mythology and religion; and the occasional highly recommended best seller).  I have been designing webs, teaching myself all I need to know, for about three years.
